Director of Business Operations - Full-Time, Remote

Job Title: Director of Business Operations

Full-time

Location: 100% Remote

Compensation: Starting at $75K annually

Our client is a growing, mission-driven educational consulting firm that helps students and families navigate the college admissions process with confidence. They are seeking a Director of Business Operations to oversee and optimize every aspect of daily operations while helping the organization scale for future growth. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building systems from the ground up, leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency, and partnering with leadership to drive strategic initiatives. If you're a proactive problem-solver who loves turning complexity into streamlined processes, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of this growing organization.


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field (advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus)
  • 5+ years of business operations, operations management, or similar leadership experience
  • Experience overseeing daily operations within a growing service-based business
  • Strong background in business process improvement and operational system development
  • Experience with program management and cross-functional project coordination
  • Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop team members
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive informed business decisions
  • Outstanding organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and follow-through
  • Creative problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in education, consulting, or student-focused organizations is a plus

Technical Skills:

  • Experience implementing and optimizing business systems and operational workflows
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms
  • Experience managing business technology, automation, and AI productivity tools
  • Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace proficiency
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs and process documentation
  • Comfortable learning and implementing new technology platforms

Duties of Role:

  • Oversee and optimize the company's day-to-day business operations
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve operational systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasting, and operational performance metrics
  • Track KPIs and analyze business data to support strategic decision-making
  • Partner with leadership on business planning and sustainable growth initiatives
  • Manage and optimize the company's technology stack, including CRM systems, AI tools, and operational software
  • Oversee cross-functional workflows to ensure exceptional client service and operational efficiency
  • Lead, support, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative culture
  • Manage vendor relationships and operational partnerships
  • Support marketing operations and CRM processes that drive business growth
  • Develop policies and procedures that improve consistency, scalability, and quality
  • Research industry trends and continuously improve internal resources and operational best practices
  • Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve client experience, and support long-term organizational success

B2B Sales Consultant - Part-Time, Hybrid + Suburbs

Job Title: Client Sales Consultant

Part-time

Hours: Flexible, minimum of 15 hours per week

Location: Hybrid - mostly remote with in-person meetings as needed

Compensation: 100% commission with no cap

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented: prioritize time and efforts to meet goals and maximize results
  • Personable and professional: understand how to read an audience, connect with all types of people, and build positive networking relationships
  • Creative thinker: able to develop plans and determine best practices for success
  • Adaptable and very proficient in most tech platforms, particularly Google Workspace, Social Media platforms such as LinkedIn and Canva
  • Experience in new business development or sales is a bonus

Duties of Role:

  • Develop relationships by networking or by creating opportunities for connection with small businesses to source new clients 
  • Research, strategize and implement outreach to local small businesses: determine strong leads and opportunities for exposure, then represent company’s services accordingly
  • Travel to networking events, office buildings, or other meetings when appropriate and worthwhile
  • Track leads and keep client database updated
  • Be available for weekly staff meetings as needed, virtual or in-person
